Sam Ramsey, former Mayor of the City of Covington, Chairman of the Board of Directors at Salem Campground and President of Ramsey Furniture Company, passed away August 25, 2020, at Emory University Orthopaedics & Spine Hospital, following surgery for a broken hip.
Those left to carry on his legacy include his wife of nearly 50 years, Becky Ramsey; cousin, Tony Ramsey and his wife, Kimberly, and their children, Taylor and Rachel.
A Funeral Service honoring the life of Mr. Ramsey will be held Monday, August 31, 2020, 11:00 AM, at Salem Campground Tabernacle, 3940 Salem Road, in Covington, with interment following in Covington City Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Salem Campground; or Covington First United Methodist Church, 1113 Conyers Street SW, Covington, GA 30014.
