Pamela Mayo, of Covington, passed away Saturday, August 7, 2021, at the age of 62. Mrs. Mayo loved celebrating the holidays, especially Thanksgiving, with her family and preparing delicious meals for everyone. In her spare time, she enjoyed playing Bingo, singing karaoke, coloring, and crocheting. Mrs. Mayo will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother and will be missed by all who knew her. She was preceded in death by her parents, John Harold Anderson; mother, Dorothy Ann Browning.
Survivors include her husband, Dean Mayo; daughters, Tamara Hinson, Tabatha Osborn; sons, Tony Floyd (Michelle), Wesley Mayo (Jessica), Justin Mayo (Emily); grandchildren, Ciera, Randall, Mackenzie, Brianna, Makayla, Ethan, Maesyn, Jordyn; great-grandchildren, Colton, Caiden, Cameron, Alayiah, Ja'khari; sisters, Deborah Anderson, Cheryl Johnson (David), Laura Brown (Jim); as well as other loving family members.
A Funeral Service for Mrs. Mayo will be held Wednesday, August 11, 2021, 11:00 A.M., at the Chapel of Caldwell & Cowan, 1215 Access Road, in Covington, with Pastor John Thornton, Jr. officiating and interment following in Salem United Methodist Church Cemetery, in Covington. Friends are invited to visit with the family at the funeral home, one hour prior to her service, from 10:00 – 11:00 A.M.
Governor Brian Kemp's latest executive order has eliminated restrictions on large gatherings; however, CDC guidelines recommend social distancing (6 feet apart) and wearing of masks while in public. Caldwell & Cowan Funeral Home requests that you observe these recommendations while in our funeral home attending visitations and/or services.
