Mary Knight of Covington passed away April 18, 2015, at the age of 84. Mary was very charismatic and outgoing, she enjoyed going out with friends. A loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and great-great-grandmother, she loved cooking and spending time with her family, which was her greatest joy in life. She was preceded in death by her parents, William Bryant and Orell Marie Stapp.
Survivors include her daughters and sons-in-law, Carolyn and Ben Hilliard of Covington, Marsha and Norman Taylor of Stockbridge; sons and daughters-in-law, Thomas Knight and Irene Puckett of Covington, Ricky and Beverly Knight of Conyers; 13 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren; 3 sisters; 1 brothers; as well as several nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services for Mrs. Knight will be held Tuesday, April 21, 2015, 11:00 AM, at the Chapel of Caldwell & Cowan Funeral Home, 1215 Access Road, in Covington, with Pastor Darrell Payne officiating and interment following in Lawnwood Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Monday, April 20, from 5:00 – 8:00 PM.
