James Charles Cronan of Covington, passed away December 21, 2017, at the age of 92. Mr. Cronan was of the Baptist faith. He provided for his family by working as a brick mason, and his hobbies included fishing, baseball, and woodworking: birdhouses were his specialty! Mr. Cronan was preceded in death by his mother, Lilian Johnson; sister, Geraldine Cronan; and brothers, Ralph Cronan, Robert Cronan.
Survivors include his loving wife, Dorothy Cronan; children, Jimmy Cronan, Grace Joiner Campbell, Glenda McKenzie, Brenda Venable, Ronnie Cronan; step-children, Linda Barnes, Wanda Johnson, Micki Cheuvront, Brenda Dodson; and brothers, Jerry Cronan of Covington, O'Neal Cronan.
A Memorial Service for Mr. Cronan will be held Sunday, January 21, 2018, 2:30 PM, at the Chapel of Caldwell & Cowan Funeral Home, 1215 Access Road, Covington, with Dr. Ronny Barnes officiating.
