obit for William J. (Bill) Taylor

William J. (Bill) Taylor of Covington, passed away January 11, 2018, at the age of 74. Mr. Taylor faithfully served the community through the State Farm Insurance Agency.

 

Survivors include his loving wife of 51 years, Martha C. Taylor; son and daughter-in-law, Bill and Allison Taylor of Decatur; daughter and son-in-law, Lei and Dan Comerford of Sandy Springs; grandchildren, Benjamin Taylor, Harrison Taylor, William Taylor; sisters and brother-in-law, Susan and Jack Mills of Donalsonville, GA, Mary Jarrett of Dothan, AL; brother, Steve Taylor of Moultrie, GA; as well as several nieces and nephews.

 

A Memorial Service for Mr. Taylor will be held Tuesday, January 16, 2017, 11:00 AM, at First Presbyterian Church, 1169 Clark Street SW, in Covington, with Rev. Dr. William B. Wade, Jr. officiating. The family will receive friends at the reception, in the fellowship hall, following the service. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the First Presbyterian Church, or, Bridgeway Hospice, 1731 Meriweather Drive, Suite 101, Watkinsville, GA 30677.
