obit for Regina Englund Jenkins

Regina Englund Jenkins, age 70, of Conyers, passed away Friday, March 15, 2019. Mrs. Jenkins was a hard worker and a driving force in the family business, Lance & Jenkins Wrecker Service, in Lawrenceville. She was well-known and highly regarded in the wrecker industry. Mrs. Jenkins had a calming spirit, a giving nature and caring ways that endeared her not only to family and friends, but to her employees as well. She was a steady and constant presence in the lives of her daughters and grandchildren and led by example of how to treat others with kindness and compassion. Mrs. Jenkins was always dressed to impress and was drawn to bright and festive colors. She enjoyed traveling with her husband, spending time with her family and shopping. Mrs. Jenkins was preceded in death by her parents, Ralph and Marion (Thompson) Gould.

 

She is survived by her devoted husband of 47 years, Kenneth Jenkins; daughters and sons-in-law, Michelle and John Patton of Loganville, Cindy and Chris Gould of Douglasville; grandchildren, Kinzee Chitwood, Riley Patton, Lexi Chitwood, Lindsey Patton, Katlin Gould; brother, Carlton Englund of Conyers; nephews, Travis Englund, Tyler Englund; as well as fur babies, Lucky, Skittles, Fendi, Holly, Sierra.

 

A Funeral Service for Mrs. Jenkins will be held Tuesday, March 19, 2019, 2:00 P.M., at the Chapel of Caldwell & Cowan, 1215 Access Road, in Covington, with Pastor Justin Adams officiating. Interment will follow in Green Meadow Memorial Gardens, 699 American Legion Road, in Conyers. Friends may visit with the family at the funeral home, Monday, March 18, from 6:00 – 8:00 P.M.
