Rev. Mutombu Kayij

 

Rev. Mutombu Kayij of the Congo, passed away March 26, 2019, at the age of 75. Rev. Mutombu Kayij was a professor of theology in the Congo and a pastor for the United Methodist Church since 1965; he also served and did missionary work in North Africa. Rev. Kayij is survived by his loyal and devoted wife of 53 years, Kona Kayij.

 

A Funeral Service for Rev. Kayij will be held Saturday, April 6, 2019, 2:00 P.M., at the First United Methodist Church, 1113 Conyers Street SW, in Covington, with --- officiating and interment following in Lawnwood Memorial Park in Covington. Friends may visit with his family at the church one hour prior to the service, from 1:00 – 2:00 P.M.
