Connie Sue Williams of Social Circle passed way Tuesday, October 1, 2019, at the age of 85. Mrs. Williams was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Women's Auxiliary and First Baptist Church of Social Circle. She enjoyed volunteering at many different places such as Piedmont Walton Hospital and at the United Methodist Church food pantry in Social Circle. Mrs. Williams was preceded in death by her husband, Willie Williams; and daughter, Linda Sue Williams Dorton.
Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Elizabeth Diane (Dee) and Kemal Joseph; grandchildren, Matthew Scott Joseph, Elizabeth Ashley Smith, Holly Marie Dorton, Amber Renee Ashley; nine great-grandchildren; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
A Graveside Service for Mrs. Williams will be held Monday, October 7, 2019, 11:00 A.M., in Oak Hill Memorial Park, 800 Truxton Drive, Kingsport, TN 37660, with Rev. Kemal Joseph officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a local animal shelter or the United Methodist Church Food Pantry in Social Circle, 261 South Cherokee Road, Social Circle, GA 30025.
