Betty Lamb

Betty Lamb, of Covington, passed away Wednesday, September 9, 2020, at the age of 84. Mrs. Lamb was known by her family and friends as being a busybody – she loved traveling, visiting people, shopping, and talking on the phone. In addition, she enjoyed being part of the Smyrna Shriners Club, doing crossword puzzles, collecting photos, watching her favorite NASCAR racer, Kyle Busch, and GA Tech football (even though the family thought they had her converted into a UGA fan). Mrs. Lamb loved her children and grandchildren dearly and will be missed by all. She was preceded in death by her husband, Joe Lamb.

Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Keith and Debra Robinson; grandchildren, Jeremy Robinson, Melissa Ingram and husband, Jimmy, Michael Robinson, Chris Robinson; great-grandchildren, Hannah Ingram, Madeline Ingram, Emily Ray, along with several other grandchildren; as well as numerous loving family and friends.

A Funeral Service for Mrs. Lamb will be held Saturday, September 12, 2020, 11:00 A.M., at the Chapel of Caldwell & Cowan Funeral Home, 1215 Access Road, in Covington, with Pastor Chris Allen officiating. Friends are invited to visit with the family at the funeral home, Friday, September 11, from 6:00 – 8:00 P.M. and again on Saturday, prior to her service, from 9:00 – 10:45 A.M.
