Evanita Mary Holder of Covington, passed away August 30, 2020, at the age of 86.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Alphonzo Holder; parents, Adolphus Enniss and Miriam Gill; sisters, Ethaline Payne and Irene Gill; brothers, Rufus Gill, Robert Gill and Michael Gill.
Those left to relish in the memories created are her daughters and sons-in-law, Zieta Knight (Carson), Heraline Holder-Morris (Peter), Margo Holder, Sherelle Holder-Lynch (Winston); sons and daughters-in-law, Pastor Victor Gill (Felicia), Sven Holder (Petra), Anderson Gill, Roger Holder (Novella), Anthony Harris, Charles King (Tonya); 37 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren; brother and sister-in-law, Cecil Gill (Dorothy); as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
A Funeral Service to celebrate the life and legacy of Mrs. Holder will be held Wednesday, September 9, 2020, 1:00 PM, at the Chapel of Caldwell & Cowan Funeral Home, 1215 Access Road, in Covington, with her son, Pastor Victor Gill, officiating, and interment following in Lawnwood Memorial Park. Friends may visit with her family Wednesday, two hours prior to her service, from 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM.
