Billy Wood, of Monticello, passed away Wednesday, February 3, 2021, at the age of 56. Mr. Wood was a resident of Monticello for over 10 years. A hard-working self-employed electrician, he always made sure his family was provided for. Mr. Wood was pure hearted and a good friend all around. He was funny, very sarcastic, and had a dry wit sense of humor. In his spare time, Mr. Wood enjoyed hunting and fishing. Wonderful to all his family, he will be remembered as a loving husband, father, and grandfather. Mr. Wood was preceded in death by his mother, Jelean (Stevens) Wood
Those left to cherish his memory are his loving wife of 28 years, Daneen Wood; daughters and sons-in-law, Tara and William Colvin, Tiffany Wood and Richard Ramirez, Kimberly Wood; sons, Andrew Wood, Devin Wood; 15 grandchildren; 1 great-grandchild; father, Carl Wood; sister and brother-in-law, Donna and Danny parks; numerous nieces and nephews; as well as former wife, Kathy Wood.
