Colleen White, of Covington, passed away Friday, December 17, 2021, at the age of 83. Mrs. White was born Saturday, April 23, 1938, in Conyers. She was the daughter of the late Floyd Garner and Ruby Persall Garner. Mrs. White was the wife of the late George O. White and mother to the late Mary Beth White and Matthew White.
She is survived by her daughters, Pam Hughes (Jim), Debbie Williams (Jerry), Patti White; sons, Mark White (Debbie), Brian White (Sharon); grandchildren, Hayden Williams, Christopher Wills, Alan Wills, Jared Williams, Jackson White, Emily Williams, Isabella Morton.
A Funeral Service for Mrs. White will be held Tuesday, December 21, 2021, 12:00 Noon, at the Chapel of Caldwell & Cowan, 1215 Access Road, in Covington, with interment following in Green Meadow Memorial Gardens, 699 American Legion Road NE, in Conyers. Friends are invited to visit with the family at the funeral home one hour prior to her service from 11:00 A.M. – 12:00 Noon.
Governor Brian Kemp's latest executive order has eliminated restrictions on large gatherings; however, CDC guidelines recommend social distancing (6 feet apart) and wearing of masks while in public.
