Junior Yelton, of Covington, passed away Wednesday, December 1, 2021, at the age of 20. Junior enjoyed hunting, fishing, and watching movies, and had a love for antique cars, and history. He was a big gamer and liked to play his Xbox. Junior had a big heart, loved his Lord and his family dearly. He was preceded in death by his brother, Joseph Clark; grandfather, Alvin Harper, Sr.; and grandparents, Bob and Helen Yelton.
Survivors include his parents, Steven and Keri Yelton; brother, Torrey Yelton; sister, Melodia Clark; grandparents, Greg and Teresa Johns; grandmother, Patricia Byrnes; as well as several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
A Memorial Service for Junior will be held Saturday, December 4, 2021, 11:00 A.M., at the Chapel of Caldwell and Cowan & Cowan, 1215 Access Road, in Covington, with Pastor Greg Johns officiating. Friends are invited to visit with the family at the funeral home, Friday, December 3, from 6:00 – 9:00 P.M.
Governor Brian Kemp's latest executive order has eliminated restrictions on large gatherings; however, CDC guidelines recommend social distancing (6 feet apart) and wearing of masks while in public.
