Jacinta Lavita Martin of Covington, passed away March 11, 2015, at the age of 51. Jacinta loved the Lord and spending time in his Word. She was a devoted mother, and cherished the time she spent teaching them and attending their events. Jacinta enjoyed working in her flower garden, decorating her house for different holidays and especially loved traveling to Colorado. She was preceded in death by her father, John L. Jones.
Survivors include her husband, Pastor Bobby E. Martin of Covington; daughters, Jeleysa Harris of Warner Robins, Joy Martin, Josephine Martin, Jewel Martin, all of Covington; sons, Perry Duke Harris and wife, Kaylea, of Baton Rouge, LA, Johnathan Martin of Covington; granddaughter, Kayla Harris of Baton Rouge, LA; mother, Corrine Esther Jones; step-children, Tiffany, Carlos, Derrick, Ramon, Bobby, Jr., Quinton (predeceased); sister and brother-in-law, Natalie and Wendell Phifer of Fayetteville; brothers and sisters-in-law, Gregory and Genivive Jones of Fairburn, Darrell and Sarah Jones of Atlanta; several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews; and a host of brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law.
A Memorial Service for Jacinta will be held Wednesday, March 18, 2015, at 2:00 PM, at Eastridge Community Church, 863 Hwy. 142 E, in Covington, with Rev. Danny Sorrells and Scott Moore officiating.
