Flora Mae Brown, of Loganville, passed away Saturday, May 29, 2021, at the age of 97.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence Sidney Brown; parents, Miner Monroe and Sara Elizabeth Bailey.
Survivors include her daughter, Cherie Mitchell and Tommy Smith; grandchildren, Julie Ramey and husband, Mike, Jeremy Roden; great-grandchildren, Patrick Ramey, Joshua Ramey, Jacob Roden, Allie Roden; as well as several nieces and nephews; special singers, Jeremy Roden, Paul Ray Morgan, and Linda Morgan.
A Funeral Service for Mrs. Brown will be held Wednesday, June 2, 2021, 3:30 P.M., at the Chapel of Caldwell & Cowan Funeral Home, 1215 Access Road, in Covington, with Pastor Paul Ray Morgan officiating and interment following in Lawnwood Memorial Park. Friends are invited to visit with the family at the funeral home, Tuesday, June 1, from 6:00 – 8:00 P.M.
Governor Brian Kemp's latest executive order has eliminated restrictions on large gatherings; however, CDC guidelines recommend social distancing (6 feet apart) and wearing of masks while in public. Caldwell & Cowan Funeral Home requests that you observe these recommendations while in our funeral home attending visitations and/or services.
