Charlotte C. Wilson, of Covington, passed away Saturday, March 5, 2022, at the age of 85. Mrs. Wilson was a dedicated member of Grace Baptist Church and the activity director at Orange Blossom RV Resort. She always put God first and family second. Social in nature, Mrs. Wilson enjoyed Karaoke, playing cards, Bingo, and traveling. In addition, she enjoyed decorating and being outside whether she was cutting grass or working in the yard. Mrs. Wilson was preceded in death by her parents, David Wiley and Pearl Ann (Smallwood) Martin; siblings, Darlene Daniels, Bobby Martin, Herbert Martin, Billy Martin, Betty Hewell, and Jimmy Martin.
Survivors include her loving husband of 67 years, Billy W. Wilson, Sr.; Children, Sherry Wilson (Travis), Billy Wilson (Helen), Anne Sterling; grandchildren, Christy Lynn Stewart (Kenny), Billy W. Wilson, III, Cameron Wilson, Chris Tanner, Bridjet Sayig, Dameon Johnson, Kim Gardner, Tyler Walter (Danane), Josh Walter, Corey Altman; great-grandchildren, Cody Stewart, Austin Wilson, Brianna Wilson, London Wilson, Kameron Wilson, Joshua Tanner (Emily), Nicholas Martinez, Zachary Skattie, Rebecca Skattie, Terry Butler, Jr., Arianna Theus, Rod Theus, Jr.; several great-great-grandchildren; as well as her sister, Pat Lazenby.
A Funeral Service for Mrs. Wilson will be held Wednesday, March 9, 2022, 2:00 P.M., at the Chapel of Caldwell & Cowan, 1215 Access Road, in Covington, with Pastor Phillip Bone officiating and interment following in Lawnwood Memorial Park. Friends are invited to visit with the family at the funeral home, Tuesday, March 8, from 5:00 – 8:00 P.M.
