Charles P. "Charlie" Williams, of Covington, passed away June 1, 2015, at the age of 60. Charlie enjoyed sports, especially softball, and riding his motorcycle. He was a die-cast car collector and loved attending car shows. A dedicated employee of Panasonic for 21 years, Charlie was a giving person who always thought of others first. He was preceded in death by his father, James A. Williams; and brother, Jerry Williams.
Survivors include his wife, Donna Williams; mother, Lillie Williams; sisters, Jean Smith, Charlotte Valentine, Christy Wall; brothers, Jessy Williams, Jeremy Williams; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
A funeral service for Charlie will be held Thursday, June 4, 2015, 11:00 AM, at the Chapel of Caldwell and Cowan, 1215 Access Road, in Covington, with Pastor Scott Moore officiating, and interment following in Corinth Cemetery in Stone Mountain. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Wednesday, June 3, from 5:00 – 8:00 PM.
