Thelma B. Walker, 85, of Mansfield, passed away June 10, 2015. Mrs. Walker was a loving mother and grandmother, and a devoted wife of 64 years, to her husband, Landis. She worked alongside her husband, as bookkeeper, for his company, Walker Metal Products, Inc. She was the perfect example of Jehovah's Witnesses, a kind and generous woman who dedicated much of her time witnessing to others.
Survivors include her adoring husband, Landis C. Walker; daughters and son-in-law, Reba and Mike Andrews of Fayetteville, Melodie Walker; grandchildren, Cheryl Barker, Catherine Todd, Gwen Gray, Laura Walker, Daniel Sheehan, Kevin Sheehan; great-grandchildren, Faith, Hope, Eden-Love, Isabella and Josiah; as well as several nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services for Mrs. Walker will be held Saturday, June 13, 2015, 4:00 PM, at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 13075 Highway 36, in Covington, with Steve Morris officiating. The family will receive friends at Caldwell & Cowan Funeral Home, 1215 Access Road, in Covington, Friday, June 12, from 6:00 – 8:00 PM. A Graveside Service for Mrs. Walker will be held Monday, June 15, 11:00 AM, at Westview Cemetery, 1680 Westview Dr., in Atlanta.
