Linda Diann Stowe

Linda Diann Stowe, of Social Circle, passed away Wednesday, May 8, 2019, at the age of 72. Mrs. Stowe was a founding member of Word of Tabernacle Church, in Covington. A hard worker with drive and dedication, she successfully built and owned her own cleaning business. Mrs. Stowe's cooking skills were exceptional, and she delighted in seeing others enjoy her homemade meals. She was a movie buff and loved going on trips to the beach and mountains. Mrs. Stowe, a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, will always be remembered as the true heart of her family who kept everyone centered. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jerry Stowe; parents, Cecil Spence and Betty Jane Mitchell; and brother, Paul Hollis.

 

Survivors include her daughters and sons-in-law, Angie and Mike Fuller of Monroe, Ronda and Jon Gissendaner of Covington, Lisa and Daniel Gissendaner of Monroe; sons, David Stowe, Darrell Stowe, both of Rutledge; twelve grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; sister and brother-in-law, Connie Ann and Gary Mulkey of Loganville; brothers and sister-in-law, Jessie and Sheena Summers of Milton, FL, Travis Mitchell of Loganville; as well as several nieces and nephews.

 

A Funeral Service for Mrs. Stowe will be held Saturday, May 11, 2019, 1:00 P.M., at Word of Life Tabernacle, 99 Ellis Trail, in Covington, with Rev. Daniel Gissendaner officiating. Mrs. Stowe will lie in state at the church, one hour prior to service, from 12:00 Noon – 1:00 P.M. Interment will follow in Lawnwood Memorial Park, Covington. Friends may visit with her family at Caldwell & Cowan Funeral Home, 1215 Access Road, in Covington, Friday, May 10, from 5:00 – 8:00 P.M.
