James G. Walton, age 82, of Snellville, died December 7, 2014. Mr. Walton proudly served his country in the United States Air Force, and retired from the Veterans Administration after 34 years of dedicated service. He was an avid NASCAR fan. Mr. Walton was loved and will be missed by his family and friends.
Survivors include his wife, Gail Haralson Walton; children, Greg Walton, Debbie Walton Boaz; grandchildren, Nicole Boaz, Josh Boaz; and his sister, Joyce Walton Moore.
A Graveside Service for Mr. Walton will be held Wednesday, December 10, 2014, 11:00 AM, at Covington City Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association - Georgia Chapter, 41 Perimeter Center East, Suite 550, Atlanta, GA 30346.
