Patricia Hawkins, of Maryville, TN, formerly of Jackson, GA, passed away December 5, 2014, at the age of 72. Mrs. Hawkins enjoyed working in the church and was a faithful pastor's wife at Lighthouse Apostolic Church in Jackson. Her hobbies included sewing, gardening, cooking, collecting recipes, and traveling. In addition, she enjoyed catering wedding receptions. Mrs. Hawkins was preceded in death by her parents, Hershell and Mary Frances Thompson; and brother, Norman Thompson.
Survivors include her husband, Rev. Kenneth Dudley Hawkins of Maryville, TN; daughter and son-in-law, Robin and Ricky Brown of Forsyth; sons and daughters-in-law, Kenn and Lori Hawkins of Maryville, TN, Jamie and Kristy Hawkins of Oxford; grandchildren, Brittania Morris, Miranda Faulds, Jessica Brown, Amanda Sullivan, Austin Hawkins, Kingston Hawkins, Vintage Hawkins, Sparrow Hawkins; great-grandchildren, Isabella Faulds, Luke Morris, Katie Morris, Bristol Sullivan; brothers and sisters-in-law, James and Vera Thompson of Acworth, Doug and Linda Thompson of Between; as well several nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services for Mrs. Hawkins will be held Sunday, December 7, 2014, 3:30 PM, at Caldwell & Cowan Funeral Home, 1215 Access Road, in Covington, with Pastor John Bratcher, Pastor Gary Brathcer, Pastor Cort Chavis officiating. Interment will follow in Lawnwood Memorial Park with Pastor Kenneth Morrell officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Saturday, December 6, from 6:00 – 8:00 PM and Sunday, December 7 from 1:00 – 3:00 PM.
