Jamie Ruth Ruark of Mansfield, passed away April 13, 2018, at the age of 65. Mrs. Ruark was employed with FNB where she worked as a loan officer for more than 25 years. Not only a member of Mansfield Baptist Church, she headed-up the Nursing Home Ministry for her church. This leadership role came as no surprise given Mrs. Ruark's heart for the elderly and her passion for caring for those in need. Family and friends were an integral part of her daily life, and she was especially fond of her grandchildren. She engaged with them by doing activities they loved, such as watching Gaven play sports, or drawing and being creative with Aubrey. Mrs. Ruark's favorite ways to relax and enjoy life were squirrel and bird-watching and trips to the beach. She also liked to work sales at Duvall Livestock. Mrs. Ruark was preceded in death by her parents, Jamie Lee and Martha Louise (Johnson) Henderson.
A Funeral Service for Mrs. Ruark will be held Thursday, April 19, 2018, 1:00 P.M., at Mansfield Baptist Church, 101 Woodlawn Road, in Mansfield, with Dr. Jeff Perkins officiating and interment following in Carmel Cemetery, Mansfield. Friends may visit with her family at Caldwell & Cowan Funeral Home, 1215 Access Road, in Covington, Wednesday, April 18th, from 5:00 -7:00 P.M.
