Lillye Cheely Wiley of Oxford, passed away April 26, 2018, at the age of 77. She was born June 3, 1940, to Griffith and Josephine Bullock of Eatonton, Georgia. Lillye set her eye on cosmetology and eventually owned and operated "Hairstyles by Lillye", serving her loyal customers for 55 years. Lillye loved good food and socializing. Her beginning-of-summer and Christmas parties were a treat for her family and friends. She loved working in the yard, planting flowers, and driving her John Deere tractor while mowing the grass. Additionally, she enjoyed spending time at her pool in her bikini. Lillye was a person that when you met her you would instantly love her. Cherie would tell Lillye that everybody loved her, and even in her saddest moments, that would make her laugh. Lillye, with her very humorous and sweet personality, would always say the funniest things to make you laugh. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her. Lillye was preceded in death by her father and mother; her loving son, Rex Allen Williams; and her cousin, Don Vinson.
