Rose Carolyn Hudson of Covington passed away January 11, 2017, at 85 years of age. Even though she was the wife of a busy Methodist minister, she still found time to enjoy sewing and reading. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert B. Hudson; two children, Mike (Michael) Hudson and Elizabeth (Hudson) Dickson; parents, Elbert Elvin and Odessa Loving (Ballowe) Rogers.
Survivors include her sons and daughter-in-law, Craig and Jan Hudson, Darryl and Jackie Hudson; son-in-law, Chris Dickson; six grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
A Graveside Service for Mrs. Hudson will be held Monday, January 16, 2016, 10:30 AM, at the Holston Conference Emory and Henry Cemetery, 30461 Garnand Drive, Emory, VA, with Rev. Jerry Eggers officiating.
