Mrs. Dolores (Atkinson) Amerson Stovall of Covington, passed away January 25, 2017, at the age of 59. Mrs. Stovall, a 1975 graduate of Newton High School, worked for AT&T for 30 years. A loving mom, she enjoyed reading, shopping, and traveling. Preceding her in death was her first husband, James Amerson; second husband, Mike Stovall; mother, Dolores (Moravitz) Tate; father, Benjamin Atkinson.
Survivors include her daughter, Ashley Amerson and fiancé, Alyssa Curti; sister and brother-in-law, Karen and Russell Hamby of Jackson, GA; brothers and sisters-in-law, Robert and Cheryl Atkinson, William and Susan Atkinson, all of Covington, GA; numerous nieces and nephews.
A Memorial Service for Mrs. Stovall will be held, Saturday, January 28, 2017, 3:00 PM, at the Chapel of Caldwell & Cowan Funeral Home, 1215 Access Road, in Covington, with Rev. Beth Young officiating. Friends may visit with her family at the funeral home, Friday, January 27, from 6:00 – 8:00 PM.
