Joseph "Joe" Alexander Levinsky of Oxford passed away January 15, 2017, at 80 years of age. Mr. Levinsky was a member of St. Augustine Catholic Church in Covington for 40 years. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Suzie Levinsky and his parents.
Survivors include his wife of 53 years, Barbara Levinsky; daughters and sons-in-law, Kathleen Levinsky, Margaret and Thanh Nguyen, Bonnie and Jason Raposo; eight grandchildren; sister, Mary Chiodo; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
A Funeral Mass will be held Friday, January 20, 2017, 2:00 PM, at St. Augustine Catholic Church, 11524 Highway 278, Covington, with Rev. Fr. Roberto A. Orellana officiating. Interment will follow in Salem United Methodist Church Cemetery, 3962 Salem Rd., in Covington.
