May Ann Strickland - CORRECTED

Mary Ann Strickland of Covington passed away January 2, 2017, at 71 years of age.  A member of Solid Rock Baptist Church, Mrs. Strickland was a people person who never met a stranger.  She worked for Dekalb County for more than 20 years.  Mrs. Strickland was preceded in death by her husband, James Ronald Strickland; parents, Alfred and Betty (Babb) Simpson; and brother, Kenny Simpson.

 

Survivors include her sons and daughters-in-law, Brad and Tiffany Strickland, Samuel and Bonnie Strickland, all of Covington; grandchildren, Kaleb Strickland, Josephine Reynolds, Collin Reynolds, Haven Strickland; sister, Tina Simpson of Alpharetta; brothers and sisters-in-law, Clarence and Sharon Simpson of Homer, Claude and Debbie Simpson of Clairmont, Carl and Jan Strickland of Oxford, Timmy and Linda Simpson of Cumming; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.

 

A Funeral Service for Mrs. Strickland will be held Friday, January 6, 2017, 3:00 PM, at Caldwell & Cowan Funeral Home, 1215 Access Road, Covington, with Pastor Mike Franklin officiating.  Friends may visit with the family Thursday, January 5, from 5:00 – 7:00 PM.
