Michael Keith Durden, of Porterdale, passed away December 28, 2013, at the age of 55. He worked for D & W Air Flow and enjoyed fishing, hunting, running dogs, and cooking. Mr. Durden was preceded in death father, Carlton Eugene Durden, Sr.
Survivors include his mother, Mary Lou Durden of Porterdale; wife, Margarite Sue Durden also of Porterdale; daughters and sons-in-law, Rebecca and Brandon Massey of Monticello, Amanda Parks of Conyers, Kayla and Michael Stapp of Porterdale, Brandy Hines also of Porterdale; sons, Jason Wade Durden, David Mask both of Savannah; 12 grandchildren; brothers and sisters-in-law, Carlton Eugene, Jr. and Annette Durden of Covington, John Wayne and Linda Durden of Porterdale; several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Funeral Services for Mr. Durden will be held Tuesday, December 31, 2013, 2:00 PM, at the Chapel of Caldwell & Cowan Funeral Home, 1215 Access Road, in Covington, with Pastor Wayne Whitley officiating, and interment following in Lawnwood Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Monday, December 30, from 6:00 – 9:00 PM.
