Ronald Franklin Berry of Monticello, passed away December 24, 2013, at the age of 77. Mr. Berry collected and restored antique outboard motors and boats, and enjoyed DIY projects. He loved spending time with his grandchildren. Mr. Berry was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, son, brother and friend to many. He was preceded in death by his father, Johnnie Franklin Berry; brother, Ralph Glenn Berry; and aunts, Melba Crenshaw and Evelyn Crenshaw.
Survivors include his wife, Mary Ann Berry; sons and daughter-in-law, Darren Berry, Michael and Leah Berry; grandchildren, Levi Berry, Maggie Berry, Nolan Berry; mother, Catherine Margaret Berry; brother, Bobby Berry; several nieces, nephews and cousins.
A Graveside Service for Mr. Berry will be held Saturday, December 28, 2013, 2:00 PM, at Berry Family Cemetery, Highway 212, in Covington. The family will receive friends at Caldwell & Cowan Funeral Home, 1215 Access Road, in Covington, Friday, December 27, from 6:00 – 8:00 PM. Flowers are accepted, or donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association – Georgia Chapter, 41 Perimeter Center East, Suite 550, Atlanta, GA 30346.
