William "Scott" Carpenter, of Covington, passed away December 28, 2013, at the age of 51. He enjoyed working out and was an avid hunter and sportsman. A horse racing fan, he never missed a Derby in 24 years. He loved his family and was a devoted husband, father, son, brother, uncle and friend to many. He was preceded in death by his father, William Carpenter; sister, Debra Doan.
Survivors include his loving wife, Andrea "Fred" Whisenhunt Carpenter of Covington; daughter, Loren Carpenter of FL; mother, Sandra Carpenter of Louisville, KY; niece and nephews, Tiffany, Jason and Austin; and his four-legged family and hunting companions, Axel and The Ahrnold.
Funeral Services for Mr. Carpenter will be held Monday, December 30, 2013, 7:00 PM, at the Chapel of Caldwell & Cowan Funeral Home, 1215 Access Road, in Covington, with Butch Davis officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Monday, December 30, one hour and forty-five minutes prior the service, from 5:00 – 6:45 PM.
