Margaret Anderson, 64, of Covington, passed away November 25, 2013, at home, following her long battle with cancer. Ms. Anderson owned and operated numerous beauty salons in Covington. She had a passion for helping others, and often volunteered to assist anyone in need. Ms. Anderson was preceded in death by her parents, Charlie T. and Ella (McCord) Osborn; and her brothers, Roy Osborn, Robert Osborn, Clark Osborn and Junior Osborn.
Survivors include her sons and daughter-in-law, Jeff Criswell, Mike and Barbara Criswell; grandchildren, Austin Criswell, Jessica Criswell, Ashley Hollingsworth, all of Covington; sisters, Ruth Bradford, Mary Rutledge, both of Covington, Ann Dodd of Porterdale; several nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services for Ms. Anderson will be held Friday, November 29, 2013, 12 Noon, at the Chapel of Caldwell & Cowan Funeral Home, 1215 Access Road, in Covington, with Rev. Tim Walden and Rev. Mike Franklin officiating, and interment following in Covington City Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Friday, two hours prior to the service, from 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM. Flowers are accepted, or because of Ms. Anderson's love for animals, donations may be made to ASPCA – Honor Memorial Program, 520 8th Avenue, 7th floor, New York, NY 10018.
