Nancy Ann Bennett, of Social Circle, passed away on November 9, 2013, at the age of 71. She was a devoted mother who loved spending time with her family. Mrs. Bennett was preceded in death by her husband, Baxter Bennett; parents, Henry and Mary Rowell; sister, Linda Gail Cook.
Survivors include her children and their spouses, Sonya and Steve Bridges, Tina and Antony Saint, Jody Phillips, Melinda and Larry Conley, Mary and Dan Omstead, James and Maureen Watts; grandchildren, Stephanie Bridges, Miranda Barker, John Barker, Jr., Timothy Phillips, Amber Wilkins, Britt Williams, Ashlyn Conley, Breanna Omstead, Augustus Watts; great-grandsons, John Michael O'Kelley, John Dalton Barker, Brantley Williams, Caleb Phillips; sister, Kathy Wade; brother, James "Jimmy" Rowell, Jr.; several nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services for Mrs. Bennett will be held Tuesday, November 12, 2013, 11:30 AM, at the Chapel of Caldwell & Cowan Funeral Home, 1215 Access Road, in Covington, with Rev. Ann Butler officiating, and interment following in Lawnwood Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Monday, November 11, from 6 – 9 PM.
