Minnetta Nelms of Covington, passed away November 6, 2013, at the age of 78. Mrs. Nelms taught at Cousins Middle School for more than 30 years. She enjoyed cooking, sewing, gardening, and fishing. Mrs. Nelms loved her family dearly, and cherished her time with each of them.
Survivors include her sons and daughter-in-law, Russell and Keely Nelms, Kevin Nelms; grandchildren, Justin Nelms, Jesse Nelms, Cameron Chambers, Keelyn Harper, Ethan Harper, all of Covington; several nieces and nephews.
A Graveside Service for Mrs. Nelms will be held Friday, November 8, 2013, 2:00 PM, at Shiloh United Methodist Cemetery, in Covington. The family will receive friends at Caldwell & Cowan Funeral Home, 1215 Access Road, in Covington, two hours prior to the service, from 12:00 – 2:00 PM.
