Dana Massey, 38, of Newborn, passed away suddenly March 18, 2014. Dana lived life to the fullest, and enjoyed spending time outdoors and camping. She cherished her family, and was the glue that held everyone together. Above all, Dana loved her children unconditionally and would do anything for them.
She was preceded in death by her grandmother, Evelyn Parmer.
Survivors include her husband, Barry Massey; daughter, Haven Massey; son, Hunter Massey; mother, Charlene Parmer, all of Newborn; father, Alan Holcombe of Baldwin; sisters and brother-in-law, Kaytee and Richard Smith of Raleigh, NC, Virginia Holcombe of Franklin, NC, Cindy Ledbetter of Jasper County; brothers and sister-in-law, Ryan and Ashley Archer of Maryland, David Holcombe of Duluth; grandmother, Dorothy Holcombe of Lawrenceville; mother-in-law and father-in-law, Roxann and Terry Massey of Monticello; several nieces and nephews.
A Memorial Service for Dana was held Friday, March 21, 2014, 4:00 PM, at Covington Christian Church, 141 Highway 142, in Covington, with Rev. Scott Suttles officiating.
I am praying for you all. Dana was a wonderful childhood and school friend. She was always smiling. She always had a kind word. She will be missed by many but never forgotten....I send all my love to her family.
ReplyDeleteOh my heart breaks for Barry and the children. I remember Dana as a fun loving high school student. She always had a smile and sense of humor in class. Lord, wrap your arms around her family and comfort them through these darks days. To her children, mommy is always watching!!!
