Susan Clegg, 62, of McDonough, passed away March 17, 2014. She enjoyed knitting and gardening, was an excellent cook, and loved all types of animals. Memaw, as she was affectionately known by her grandchildren, was cherished by her family and will be greatly missed.
Survivors include her husband of 38 years, Glenn Clegg; daughter, Ashley Clegg, both of McDonough; son and daughter-in-law, Donnie, Jr. and Jessica Slaton; grandchildren, Tripp and Owen Slaton, all of Newnan; sister, Linda Stalvey of Albany; several nieces and nephews.
A Memorial Service for Susan will be held Wednesday, March 19, 2014, 2:00 PM, at Julia A. Porter United Methodist Church, in Porterdale, with Bill Norton officiating. The family will receive friends at the church following her service. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to the building fund at Julia A. Porter.
