Richard Brandon Killam (R.B. or Ricky) went to be with our Lord and with family who have gone before him on March 13, 2014. An avid hunter and fisherman, R.B. loved living on the lake and spending time with his family and friends. The family is happy to say he came to know our Lord and Savior in his last year.
He is survived his wife of 41 years, Sheri Thames Killam; daughters and their husbands, Paige and Mark Boivin, Amanda and Daniel Cliburn; 9 beautiful grandchildren, Abby, Anna, Addi Ruth, T.J. Boivin and Danielle, Hannah, Sarah, Landon, Brayden Cliburn; sister and brother-in-law, Marcia and Bill Shirley; sister-in-law and her husband, Sandy and Haven Kicklighter; and his precious nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services for R.B. will be held Sunday, March 16, 2014, 7:00 PM, at Caldwell & Cowan Funeral Home, 3134 Floyd Street, in Covington, with Dr. Alan Posey officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Sunday, March 16, two hours prior to the service from 5:00 – 7:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, contributions in his memory may be made to Crosspointe Church or Providence Christian School, 252 Byrd Road, Oxford, Georgia, 30054 or the American Cancer Society, 1684 Barnett Shoals Road, Athens, Georgia, 30605, 706-549-4893.
